FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS…
What do I wear?
At the 8:30 and 11:00 traditional services the dress is generally
dressy casual (dresses, skirts for women, sport coat & tie for
men)…..slacks for women are accepted and pull over for men no tie is
also appropriate, however if you come in a t-shirt and blue jeans no
one will turn you away.
9:45 Contemporary………blue jeans and t-shirt but you will see some
people more dressed up
10:00 GENESIS…….blue jeans and a t-shirt but you can dress up if you
prefer
Is the church handicapped accessible?
Yes…both the downtown location and the Genesis location
are handicapped accessible.
Is a nursery provided?
Yes….a nursery is provided at both locations during all
worship services/Sunday school/and Bible studies.
What do I do to join the church?
The first thing to do at the Downtown location is schedule an
appointment with the pastor by calling 582-2001 and asking for Linda
Johnston. She will set up a meeting with the two of you. In order to
become a member you must profess Jesus Christ as your Lord and
Savior and have been or be Baptized. If you were baptized in another
denomination we accept that baptism, if not we will baptize you at
the time you join.
I am not sure what Methodist believe and have questions about
this congregation?
Once a quarter we offer “Step” classes and “We Believe” classes. Any
time we offer these classes they will be posted in the scroll on the
home site or you can call 582-2001 and ask for Ann Lee and find out
when the next class will be offered.
