A shepherding lay ministry to insure each church family member is connected, and cared for, regularly.

Every church member needs to be connected and cared for but the Pastor alone can’t meet that need in a large church. The need for church family members to be connected, and cared for, is fundamental. All our church family members have this need at some level or degree at some times. Sometimes this need goes unrecognized and unmet – and sadly, church members fall through the cracks. A purpose driven church, filled with Christ’s love, seeks to draw its members to grow in the Lord and to help its members feel cared for and connected to the church body.

Who Are The PACE Shepherds?
PACE shepherds are ordinary men and women in all walks of life, of all ages, who are involved in their families, church, and community. Shepherds agree to pray for their sheep every day. They live Christ’s example of love.

When Does PACE Happen?

PACE is a continual care ministry. Shepherds: Pray daily for their sheep, are available to their sheep in times of need or joy, make contact their sheep regularly, care for their sheep. An example of Christ’s love; PACE is not a burden to shepherds or a bother to sheep. Shepherds continually testify to how PACE is a blessing to them. Shepherds overwhelmingly recommit every year.

Where Does PACE Happen?
PACE happens wherever shepherds and their sheep connect: face to face at church or in the community; from one spot to another if by phone and/or by email. PACE happens: wherever shepherds care for, and celebrate with, their sheep; at weddings; at the ER and at the ball field.
