We are safely in the village of Marle. It seemed to take forever on the ride from the airport. As you probably know, we had to go to a different airport than we first planned due to a plane over-running the runway.
They do have mosquitos in Honduras as advertised but they're not too bad. Our accommodations are okay, not plus but are deemed to be fine. The food has been great! Last night the villagers were having a welcoming get-together for the team.
Everyone we've met has been just super. The people seem so excited that our team has come to help them.
We ask that everyone continue to pray that God will bless the team and all those we are trying to help.

Hello from Honduras
Things are going well. The work is hard but very fulfilling. Everyone is tired at the end of the day.
There have been no major injuries. Some of you may have heard otherwise. There have been scrapes and bruises, but nothing serious. We keep praying that this will continue.
The team seems to feel closer to the people in town since our living conditions are similar to theirs. One positive thing that happened was that our running water was turned on. That was appreciated by all.
Our group has really come together like a family. Everyone is trying to work together and help one another out. God is blessing the team in that respect as well as in the wonderful way the people here have helped us.
Last night our group was invited to a wake for a lady in the town who had passed away. This was a great chance to see how people from another culture handle these type of situations.
There is a possibility that the major airport will be open for the return trip. That would really cut down a big bus ride. Finger's are crossed.
Please keep praying for our team.
