Celebrate Recovery (CR)

Not Meeting In July

Due to COVID-19 Celebrate Recovery will not meet in July as hoped.

We will update as things evolve.

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical program that helps us overcome our hurts, habits, and hang-ups.  The eight principles are based on the Beatitudes directly from the Bible.  This program was designed to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process.  Hurts, habits, hang-ups include, but are not limited to, drug and alcohol addictions, sex addictions, eating disorders, people who have sexually abused, those overcome with worry and fear, and those who lie to manage life.

We invite you to join us for Celebrate Recovery every Thursday night, starting July 2.  Led by Pastor Mark Mayo, CR meets at the Worship Center, located at 609 Blount Ave. Worship at 6:00 p.m., and start small groups at     7:00 p.m..  Come for all your hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We want you to know that this is a safe place, and hope you will take advantage of all the resources available to you.  You can receive stamps for attending Celebrate Recovery as a part of Drug Court, or other court referral program.
Nursery must be requested, email Heather Epperson atheather.epperson@gfumc.net
