Overseas Mission Trips

Quito, Ecuador
For several years we have sent a team to Ecuador to serve in a clinic for a large
day care facility in Quito. Volunteers do exams, fill prescriptions, and minister to
over 600 locals. A Vacation Bible School is held for the children during the week.

Missionaries We Support

In 2014, Jimmy has started working with the International Leadership Institute (ILI). He is involved in the training of those who will minister in the part of the world where the Gospel is restricted, the Church is persecuted, and the poorest of the poor live.  He organizes and teaches those who will go into these areas on The Great Commission.

After over 35 years of ministry in the Middle East, Mark and Robin have shifted locations and are now more involved in collaboration with Spanish churches where multiple nationalities congregate. Mark teaches and preaches, plus promotes Scripture through special seminars. They are both involved in evangelism and the training of workers going to closed countries.
After serving churches for over 15 years in youth and children’s ministries, plus evangelism and outreach, they felt and answered the call to full time missions.  Leaving Gardendale FUMC and moving to Peru with their 3 children, they started with enthusiasm to learn the new language and culture as they were making new friends and beginning to form a new church in an underserved area.
For 8 years, Daniel and Brandi have lived in Chiquimula, Guatemala. They have 3 children, and are independent missionaries and serve as directors of Eyes Wide Open Ministries (EWO). They work alongside pastors and leaders in mountain villages as well as support 4 local schools and the national hospital with Biblical education and supplies.
